The challenge
A fake client complaint about a payment reached DECFA’s finance lead
The email posed as a client complaining about a payment, and nothing stopped it on the way in. Whether it worked came down to one person’s judgement, in the middle of a working day.

What we built
Now XC Gradient holds every stranger’s first email at the gate
Mail from someone who has never written before is held at the edge. Known senders pass straight through: people DECFA has written to, its clients, well-known services and anyone approved once. Each must also pass SPF and DKIM, or it is held as possible impersonation. Held mail waits in one list with three buttons: Approve, Hide, Block. The sender is told nothing. On top, the Cybersecurity agent reads every incoming email and tags the suspicious ones, such as a look-alike domain or a sudden request to change bank details, so people see the warning before they act.
XC Gradient mail gate
We had a lot of trouble with phishing: people posing as clients and sending fake invoices. Now the Cybersecurity agent takes care of all of it, and we haven’t had a single problem since.
