The challenge
The whole plant was in the ERP, but nobody could see it
Plans arrived through three supplier portals and were typed into Navision one by one. The ERP held the orders, plans and machine data in tables, so finding where the plant lost time meant digging screen by screen, never looking at the plant as a whole.

What we built
Now the team reads the ERP on a 3D view of the plant
XC Gradient first centralised the three supplier portals: their plans now reach Navision on their own every week. Then it copies every Navision table three times a day, at 06:15, 14:15 and 22:15, and puts that data on a 3D view of the plant with its 31 machines. The team goes through the plant together on that view, spots where it loses time, and fixes it.

Every customer had its own portal, and we typed each plan into Navision by hand. Now the plans come in on their own, and I see the whole plant and all 31 machines in one place.
